Designing multipurpose and versatile illustrations for curious minds
The fast-paced and dynamic web and app design brings new trends into other spheres of creativity. Illustration is one of the area which is being used constantly and significantly in modern Web.
The task for me was to create a pack of thematic illustrations that would reflect the ideas of corporate life in IT services. The illustrations were intended to be used for hero images, social media marketing, blog articles, infographics, tutorials and several other marketing stuffs.
The whole set of illustrations needed to have vibrant color and style providing their general brand style. It was also important that these digital illustrations retain a high level of adaptability in different sizes. So as a designer I had to keep loads of things in my mind.
My first work was to finalize the style pattern from the numerous style trends available for illustrations. I made the decision to create all the illustrations in colorful flat design stylistic.
After deciding on the style, I started pencil sketching as a next step for my work. I poured a lot of soul and passion in creating catchy backgrounds and easily recognizable characters.
